About the club
The Dental Content Club is run by Adam Canizales, from Austin, Texas.
Why this exists
I started making content for dental practices because I kept seeing the same thing.
Hundreds of five-star reviews. Decades of training. Patients who'd drive an hour to see them.
And still losing the first appointment to someone with better content and a cleaner Google profile.
Patients ask ChatGPT or Google's AI who the best dentist near them is and get back two or three names. Being good doesn't get you in. Being legible does.
What we actually do
General practices, specialists across periodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics and prosthodontics, and dental continuing-education courses.
The doctors, the team, the space, the procedures patients are anxious about, and patient testimonials where patients are happy to give them.
Video, social and brand content cut from that footage and published on a weekly schedule, not in bursts.
Structured data, question-shaped content and listings that agree with each other, so search and AI engines can read it and cite you by name.
Our framework
Nine pillars, weighted and scored out of 100. Every practice gets it free before we talk about anything else: gaps ranked by patient impact, delivered within 24 hours, yours to keep whether or not we work together.
What 37 audits told us
Audited May to September 2026 across fourteen states and two Canadian provinces under Dental Content Club’s Online Presence Score 2026 (Framework v2.2). AI-search visibility tested live on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini with the same eight prompts. The largest point loss in every cohort is AI search, an average 9.6 of its 15 points.
Common questions
Packages run from $2,000 to $4,000 a month, and where you land depends entirely on how aggressive you want to be with your online presence — how often we film, and how much publishes each week. Travel cadence follows the package you pick: we visit quarterly at the lighter end, every other month at the heavier end. A twelve-month commitment takes $500 a month off any tier. Travel cost is billed separately and always estimated in writing before anything is booked.
There's an initial term set in your statement of work — most practices choose twelve months, which takes $500 a month off the rate. After that the engagement doesn't expire; it continues month to month with no fixed end date. You can cancel any time with thirty days' written notice before the end of your billing cycle. You'd stay responsible for production already scheduled and travel already booked.
It depends on your package: the lighter packages include a one-day on-site shoot each quarter, and the heavier ones a two-day shoot every other month. Beforehand you get a shot-list itinerary so you know exactly what's being filmed and who's needed when, and we run a short team call about a week ahead so the videographers have met everyone. On the day we film around your schedule: doctor and team pieces, procedure and space footage, and patient testimonials where patients have agreed. Most practices carry on seeing patients throughout.
The footage is yours. It lives on our drive so our editors can keep cutting new content from it for you, and you're welcome to download any of it and keep a copy on your own drive at any time. We may show finished work in our portfolio and name you as a client, and you can opt out of that in writing whenever you like.
We run a fixed battery of eight prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Gemini — the questions a patient would actually type looking for a practice like yours — and record whether you're cited by name, which competitors are named instead, and what each engine is reading to reach that answer. The same eight prompts are re-run quarterly in the same wording, so movement is measurable rather than anecdotal.
Both, and the content is built differently for each. General practices are usually solving for new-patient growth, treatment education, and showing the team and culture. Specialists need referring offices as well as patients to understand and trust the work, so the content leans harder on case and procedure explanation and referral trust. We also produce content for dental continuing-education courses.
Yes. We're based in Austin, Texas and shoot on site across the United States — current clients are filmed in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, California and Illinois. Travel is arranged around your schedule and confirmed well before the shoot date.
Shoot dates are locked in at least fourteen days ahead. Draft deliverables from each production cycle reach you within 10 to 15 business days of the shoot. You give consolidated feedback within five business days, and one round of revisions is included on every deliverable. After that, content publishes on the weekly cadence set by your package.
Most agencies still optimize for a page of blue links patients increasingly skip. Patients now ask an AI engine who the best dentist near them is, and the engine answers with the practices whose content it can actually read and verify — structured data, question-shaped content, consistent listings, citations it can check. We build for that, and we measure it with a repeatable prompt battery rather than claiming it.
Under Dental Content Club’s Online Presence Score 2026, the 37 practices audited between May and September 2026 had a median score of 48 out of 100. Forty-eight percent were not cited by any AI engine in any of the eight prompts we test, even though the same practices average a 4.9-star Google rating with roughly 290 reviews. Sixty-two percent scored the minimum on video and more than half had no YouTube channel. The single largest point loss was AI-search visibility, an average 9.6 of its 15 available points. Reviews are rarely the problem; being readable by machines is.
